FIRST AID
First aid kit is necessary to all Vidyalaya. Please make the kit as per following manner
but it is not necessary to make in following manner. This is only suggestion.

Method- It has been observed that some of the students coming to the
Vidyalaya without proper uniform and not looking smart because of there laziness and carelessness. As such it is the general
requirement to develop good habits in the children basically in primary sections with the co-operation of their parents. Being
SUPW teachers, it is our moral duty to motivate the children to adopt good habits only.
Some important good habits are
as under.
01- Under the quotation “Early to bed and early to rise , makes a man healthy , wealthy& wise”.
02- First of all they should wish their parents in the morning hours.
03- They should check their teeth, nails &
hairs etc. whether they are in proper order.
04- They should take proper bath.
05- Their cloth must be well clean
& pressed properly.
06- Their shoes must be polished.
07- Their bag must be arranged according to the time table
for the day.
08- They must have proper breakfast before going to Vidyalaya.
09- hey should keep their environment
neat and clean.
10- They should present ideal behaviour in the class & society.
11- student should not develop
any destructive ideas among themselves against the society.
12- The children should move in proper line inside the Vidyalaya
campus.
13- They should always punctual.
14- They should look like a smart student of Kendriya Vidyalaya so that the
aim of KVS may attained & executed.
Preparation of liquid soap
Name of Activity—Preparation of liquid soap

Material Required-
1- Acid Slurry- 500 gms
2- Castic
Soda – 500 gms.
3- Urea- 200 gms.
4- Water – 05 Liters
5- Plastic Tub-02 , wooden stick
Method-
Take 500 ml. water in a plastic tub, add castic soda and mix it gently by the help of wood stick(Solution-01)
Take acid
slurry in another plastic tub and add remaining water(4.5 liters) slowly and mix properly by the help of wooden stick.(Solution
–02)
Add solution no.1 and no.2 and add urea (200 gms) in this solution.
Store the solution in plastic container.
Result- 05 liters liquid soap is ready to use.
Precautions-
1-Always use gloves when preparation process is going
on.
2- Save all parts of the body specially eyes from the solution.
3- Do not use metallic vessel.
4- Add castic
soda to water, do not add water into caustic soda.

Candle Making
Name of Activity—Candle Making

Material Required-
1- Wax-150 gms.
2- Moulds-4
3- Thread
cotton
4- Hot Plate Electric
Method- Divide wax into equal proportion. Melt the wax in small aluminum vessel &
keeping it in large vessel containing water. Heat the larger one till the whole wax melts, cut the thread into 5 to 6 cms.
pieces & dip in the wax and remove it insert the thread into the hole mould, seal ends with dough.
For filling the
mould spread small amount of oil into the mould & pour the melted wax carefully into the mould. Entrapped pin around the
thread to release the air. After 4 to 5 hours remove the dough invert the mould sheet, tap and twist it to remove the candle.
For finishing the candle cut the thread at the bottom of the candle. At the top trim the thread & decorate with sparkles.
Preparation of Phenyl

Material Required-
1- Current Oil/Transformer Oil/Cutting
Oil- 01Liter
2- Pine Oil – 01 Liter
3- Liquid Soap- 01 Liter
4- Deodorant / Perfume- 10/15 ml.
5- Water
– 22 Liters
Method- Take 01 liter of pine oil and 01 liter of current oil or transformer oil and mixed it gently
for 02 to 03 minutes. Now mix 01liter liquid soap in the above solution and add water approximately 22 liters in the solution.
Add 10 to 15 ml deodorant/perfume (as you like)
Result- 25 liters phenyl is ready to use.
Precautions-
1-Always
use gloves when preparation process is going on.
2- Save all parts of the body specially eyes from the solution.
