Brief History Of Vidyalaya
K.V.Uttarkashi is presently one of the few most promising upcoming
institution under the patronageous of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi. This prestigious Vidyalaya was established
with the aim to provide the coming generation from the remote villages of Uttarakhand in and around Uttarkashi with a harmonious
blend of both cultures ancient and modern along with wholesome knowledge, keeping the futuristic demands accepted by the society.
This Senior Secondary Vidyalaya was established in the year 1987 and is affiliated to the CBSE Delhi and has successfully
imparted its haul mark in the field of academics as well as Co-Curricullar activities making a niche in the annala of KVS-Dehradun
Region.
Birth and Inception
Kendriya vidyalaya were formed with the idea of encouuraging the growth of secondary school with a
common syllabus and medium of instructions for the benefit of the children of the central government employees liable to frequent
transfer any where in world.
